Prison Island is an indoor adventure destination for everyone from 8-99 years old. It’s all about teamwork and collaboration to solve tricky cell challenges and collect points. All while the clock is ticking. The Prisons have between 20 and 54 cells, depending on which location you choose to visit. Below you have some of our cells to sneak peek at and make escape plans for.
The prison rules you must follow
Make plans
Gather some friends or colleagues and make a reservation at the Challenge Rooms. A typical time for the adventure is at least 1.5 to 2 hours!
Start
Divide yourselves into teams of 3-4 people and choose a team name, register at the reception and get your electronic key.
Go green
Start with cells with green light. You can challenge the cells in any order you like.
Choose wisely
Each cell is ranked after difficulty (tactics, physics, technicality) and is worth a different number of points.
Pressure is on
The countdown begins when you open the door. Red light = time is out or you have failed. Green light = you’ve succeeded and your points get stored on your badge.
Earn your freedom
Return badge to the reception och review your team points! You are now allowed to mock the losers.

About Prison Island
What is Prison Island?
Prison Island is an indoor adventure destination that offers exciting challenges and puzzles. Participants work together to solve tasks in various cells to earn points, all within a limited time.
How does the game work?
Team up to tackle tricky challenges in different cells. These challenges tests your problem-solving skills, teamwork, and agility. To earn points, you must complete tasks within a specific time range, which varies from 1.5 to 5 minutes, depending on the cells.
How long is a typical session?
If this is your first visit, we suggest planning for a two-hour activity session to experience all the challenges.
Can I come alone, or do I need a group?
Prison Island adventures are designed for a minimum of two participants, and the ultimate team experience typically requires 3-4 people. Whether you team up with a friend, family member, or another visitor, the experience requires at least two people to participate. For the optimal adventure, consider forming a team of 3-4 participants to tackle the challenges together. Feel free to bring along a partner or join with others to create a duo or a larger team for an exciting and collaborative experience.
Is Prison Island suitable for team-building events or parties?
Absolutely! Prison Island is a great choice for team-building activities, parties, and special events. Contact us for more information on group bookings and tailored experiences.
Booking
How many persons do you recommend in a team?
We recommend 4 people in a team but you have to be minimum 3 and maximum 5.
Do I have to make a reservation?
Due to current circumstances, you need a reservation. Book online or at 0243-25 10 40 or borlange@prisonisland.se.
What time limit do you recommend for the cells?
If this is the first time you visit us, we recommend two hours of activity to test all cells. If you want to combine the activity with the laser game, 1.5 hours of activity usually is enough.
Do you have an age limit?
We recommend our activities from 8 years old.
Can I bring a child younger than 8 years old?
It’s up to you as a parent to decide but children younger than eight tend to perceive the activity as somewhat difficult and scary. However, keep in mind that children under the age of eight must always be accompanied by a paying adult. One child under eight per paying adult.
When is the last chance to cancel my booking?
Changes in the booking can be made up to 24 hours before the activity. Cancellation can be made upp to 48 hours befor the activity. Later cancellation will be charged at a cost of 50% of the booking value.
Cancelletion for groups of 15 persons or more can be dne one week in advance. Otherwise at a cost of 50% of the booking value.
For conference & teambuilding, changes in the booking can be made 48 hours in advance, and canceled 5 days before the scheduled date. Later cancellation will be charged at a cost of 50% of the booking value.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we sell gift cards. You choose the amount and the gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Clothing & safebox
What should you wear?
We recommend comfortable shoes and clothing.
Do you have safe boxes?
Yes we have safe boxes. You will need a padlock or a 10 kr coin to use them.

Can you take photos in the cells?
You are allowed to photograph in the cells, but please remember that you must have permission from everyone who is included in the pictures.
Do we need to be several teams to compete?
No you can always compete against other teams that have been here during the day.
Do you accept cash?
No, unfortunately we do not accept cash. You can pay with card or swish.
Food & drinks
Can you bring your own food?
Unfortunately you are not allowed to eat your own food in our café, but you can rent a room from SEK 250 / h where you can eat your own food.
Do you sell food or drinks?
We sell soft drinks and sweets in our café. Unfortunately we do not sell any food.
